Winchester Bourbon operates across two locations. The Model 1866 Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky is the production home where bourbon is milled, distilled, aged, and bottled. The Ugly Dog Distillery tasting room in Chelsea, Michigan hosts tastings, tours, private events, and brand activations. Both are under common ownership and together form the full Winchester Bourbon experience.
A working distillery — a stillhouse, a fermentation room, a rickhouse you can walk through if you ask politely. We mill our own grain, we cut our own runs, and we bottle on site. Bardstown sits at the heart of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail — limestone-filtered water, four real seasons, and a tradition that predates the country.
Tours and VIP visits are coordinated through the Events team. No public walk-in hours are listed for the Bardstown facility — all visits should be arranged in advance.
